Roman Lerma-Luna, precious baby boy of Rico V. Lerma and Cindy I. Luna-Garcia went home to be with the Lord before he drew his first breath. Silently born at 38 weeks, baby Roman weighed 7 pounds and was 20 1/2 inches long. We are so grateful for the time we had to hold Roman in our arms, memorizing every detail-those big feet and tiny hands, that curly hair, his sweet face, and those pouty lips. We said hello as we said goodbye. Fell deeper in love as we fell apart. We take comfort in knowing we will hold our beloved baby Roman again in heaven one day.
Roman is survived by his parents, Cindy Luna-Garcia and Rico Lerma. Maternal grandparents: Jorge and Juana Luna. Paternal grandparents: Richard III and Lydia Lerma. Aunts and uncles: Yesenia and Juliet Luna-Garcia, Veronica (Kristopher Gonzalez), Raymond (Melissa Trimmer), and Robert Lerma. His favorite cousin River Lerma. Maternal great grandparents: Elena Castro, Aristeo Garcia, Guadalupe Flores and Jesús Luna. Paternal great grandparents Esther M. Sauseda and Richard Lerma, Jr. Roman was greeted in heaven by his uncles Angel Luna-Garcia, Richard IV and Danny Lerma, cousins Mercy and Jeremiah Lerma-Gonzalez, and paternal great grandparents Rudy F. Sauseda and Rose Lerma.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 28, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at Radiant Life Church (75 N. Crescent Ave., Lodi, CA). The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 29th, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Cherokee Memorial Park-Precious Memories (Hwy 99 and Harney Ln., Lodi, CA).
